Penguin Solar: clean and sustainable energy to power Paraguay's future

In a world where clean and renewable energy is key to a sustainable future, Penguin Solar emerges within Penguin Group as a visionary project aimed at spearheading the transformation of Paraguay's electric energy matrix. With the construction of a photovoltaic plant capable of generating 120 MW of electricity, Penguin Solar will not only provide 100% clean energy to communities and industrial sectors but also contribute to diversifying the country's National Interconnected System, which currently relies heavily on energy from our three hydroelectric plants.

This ambitious project is made possible by the recent law 6977, which promotes the generation and sale of energy by private companies. With a projected investment of $100 million, Penguin Solar will harness solar resources in strategic areas like the Paraguayan Chaco, where there is a significant need for energy. The plant, spanning 200 hectares and equipped with over 200,000 solar panels, will become a symbol of progress and sustainability.

Penguin Solar aims to be a key player in the development of Paraguay's electric energy future. Opening the doors to projects of this nature is a reality that not only attracts investments but also strengthens technical capabilities and diversifies the electric energy matrix. The welcoming stance of these institutions is undoubtedly an incentive to invest in projects of this magnitude.

The dynamism generated by the availability of electric power in a clean matrix like ours is attractive to industries. Industries create jobs, generate taxes, strengthen supply chains, develop technical capacities, and, of course, by improving the National Interconnected System, energy can reach more people more efficiently.

Penguin Solar is positioned as a key component in leading the shift toward a diversified energy model, driving the development and well-being of our nation.
